WHAT IS COMMUNITY CARE?
Life can be challenging and difficult. Often times, a person may find themselves in a very difficult situation which requires additional assistance and support for them to get through the hurdle. Community Care exists to assist those within our congregation and the community during these difficult times.
The assistance offered by Crossroads Community Care is three dimensional. First is to assist with the basic necessities of life as funding and resources allow. Secondly, to offer support and make available resources to enable the individual and/or family to go through the initial crisis and make plans to bring stability for the future. Thirdly, to bridge a gap for the individual to connect with Jesus by seeing first hand - how God uses a local church to assist in providing for their physical and emotional needs.
HOW CAN I GET INVOLVED?
There are a two basic ways to get involved:
1) Financially: The Community Care Ministry is based on the gifts and donations. Without this assistance we would not be able to help individuals and families during their time of crisis or need.
2) Volunteer: As our Community Care Ministry grows and develops, volunteers are essential in assisting those who are struggling.
COMMUNITY CARE PROGRAMS:
Helping Hands Ministry:
Help for families during times of illness, tragedy or crisis. more info
Special Assistance:
Provides monetary assistance. more info
Royal Family Kids Camp:
Outreach that minsters to children who are in the foster care system. more info
Lord’s Bounty Food Minsitry:
Food pantry for those in need throughout the year. Special baskets are made on Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter. To make a food donation call the Chruch Office at 951-737-4664.
God's Kitchen:
This is a monthly opportunity, in a cooperative effort with other churches/organizations, to serve food to the homeless in our community. Vehicle Donation Program:
Donate your used vehicle. We'll Pick it Up! Volunteers needed for auto detailing and marketing. Call Rita at 951-278-3300.
Home & Hospital Visitation:
As a part of this command the Visitation program purposes to reach out and touch hurting people of all ages in Hospitals, Homes, and other institutions with Christ's love. Disabilities Ministry:

Pregnancy Counseling Center:
Serving the community to provide alternatives to abortion. It is free and confidential. For more information please call 951-737-4664.
